Max Thomsen is a commercial and editorial photographer based in Chicago, IL. Max’s passion for storytelling came from his youth while he was constantly poring over his parent's collection of movies and old National Geographic Magazines. Steve McCurry’s famous National Geographic cover of the Afghan Girl and Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction hooked him on visual storytelling. With his strong work ethic and passion to collaborate with a team, he has continued to exceed the client's expectations. Whether it’s working one-on-one with a subject on location or directing a crew in the studio, Max draws from his years of experience to capture the client's needs. When he is not working, Max draws inspiration from traveling, reading, and the cinema.
